While the majority of completed flagship projects are situated on the prestigious Atlantic Beach Golf Estate, others have been completed in Plattekloof, Milnerton and Sunset Beach.
Please find below our appreciation for the work undertaken by yourself and Cape Atlantic Projects. We approached you and your company mid 2021 to undertake a renovation of the upstairs portion of our home as well as minor alterations to be undertaken downstairs and a full renovation of the Swimming pool. With little hesitation and at great speed the project took off. Hayley Bird was tasked with the design concept and within the new guidelines for this part of the Estate a revamp of the upstairs section to incorporate 5 gables with 3 large doors offering stunning vistas was decided upon. I gave you a time frame and asked that all work be completed by end of March 2022. At every turn you and Hayley delivered what we consider to be a really wonderful product. You did your utmost to keep us within if not under our budget whilst providing us with the most superior of products. The end product speaks for itself and we were so happy with it. Your attention to detail and demand for perfection only justified our decision to engage Cape Atlantic Projects to undertake the renovation. Between you and Hayley Bird you came up with some very innovative and superb ideas and you completed this within the requested time frame. uitstekend gedoen het. Ons was baie gelukkig om jou en jou span te kon kry en ons kan jou enige tyd aanbeveel. Roland, jy het praktiese oplossings vir elke probleem gehad; jy het ‘n oog vir detail; die werk en opdragte is uitstekend uitgevoer; goeie advies aan ons gegee; administrasie en rekenings was doeltreffend; en deurgaans netjiese en kundige werk gelewer. Die konstante toesig onder Piet Bartels van jou span, was ook merkwaardig. Hy het uit sy pad gegaan om te help. Wat ons veral waardeer het, is jou goeie kommunikasie en foto’s en kort videos. Al was ons in Pretoria, het jy ons heeltyd op hoogte gehou en ons in die prentjie gebring. So kon ons bybly met al die verwikkelings en dit was lekker. Wat ons vriende skaars kon glo is dat ons bouers kon kry wat nie net betyds afgelewer het nie, maar selfs vroeer klaar was met die projek! During July to November 2022, Cape Atlantic Projects (CAP) were commissioned to extensively renovate my home – 10 Periwinkle Way, Atlantic Beach Estate. This letter serves as a reference for these CAP works. The renovation included; ceiling insulation of upper floor rooms, complete re-fitting of three bathrooms, installing a new guest toilet, major structural works to create open-plan living areas, construction of a stand-alone garage, re-cladding of exterior walls, installing new pergolas and patio re-tiling. The total project costs were in excess of one million rands. The CAP team was led by Mr Roland Kugelmann, who was supported by a Site Manager, a Site Assistant and the many trades required for the project (structural engineering, surveying, brick work, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, tiling, etc amongst others). The Site Assistant was on-site at all times, the Site Manager most of the time and Mr Kugelmann at least twice daily – all providing highly competent and continuous project supervision. The resulting product is of exceptional quality and has added significant value to my home. The primary goal of modernising the home seamlessly (no evidence of renovation) was definitely achieved. The experience and expertise of the CAP team was evident throughout the project, with their guidance on several aspects resulting in superior, more cost-effective outcomes. The CAP supervisory team were available at all times and were always highly approachable / responsive. The CAP knowledge of all estate architectural and building regulations was highly-commendable, thus ensuring our project passed final HOA inspection first time.
